Baby's Gone So Far Away

Due to the circumstances in which Baby and I usually travel -- namely, with highly discounted standby tickets courtesy of my Mom's 35-year tenure at a major airline -- we can't get anywhere before or after a major holiday. Because of this, Baby and Wren left for Austin two Thursdays ago and I've been bacching it since. The good part is that I've been slightly more productive than I might have been if the ladies of the house were here to distract me (or rather for me to allow them to distract me). The bad part is that I miss both of them terribly. Also that I got a ticket for expired registration when I dropped them off at the airport (I guess when you let your registration go unrenewed for over two years it's bound to happen eventually)
