Lives of the Rich and Famous

| | Comments (11)

The recent (okay... constant) lack of posts might cause our ardent fans to think Lazlo and I lead extremely busy fun-filled lives, wisking around Hollywood from shindig to glamorous shindig. Well folks, I hate to disappoint, but that's not really the case. In fact I haven't even seen one famous person since moving to L.A. We did get invited out to Jackie Trehorn's place last weekend, but that's not really our scene.

In case any of you've been waiting to hear about our encounters with Tinseltown's elite, I've gathered some anecdotes from our friend Lwaxana, who works in an upscale stationary store and has a lot of hip and trendy clients. She deals daily with the idiosycrasies of the stars, and has agreed to let our blog-reading public live vicariously through her:

Keanu Reeves* likes letter press printing but doesn't like to pay for rush orders (and has the Clintons on his Christmas card list). Keanu Reeves is prone to leaving his day-planner lying around, but is very polite to deal with. Keanu Reeves likes British Vogue's typeface for her daughter's birthday invitations, and won't take no for an answer. Keanu Reeves likes cheesecake (and struedel, obviously), and Keanu Reeves from Alias drives a BMW 5-series. Lwaxana also met that girl, Keanu Reeves, from Different Strokes, but I don't really remember the story.

*All the names have been changed (to Keanu Reeves), to protect the innocent celebreties. Ask Lwaxana if you really want to know.

For those of you who are curious:
Charlton Heston likes letter press printing and has the Clintons on his Christmas card list. Edward Woodward leaves his day-planner lying around. Julianna Rose Mauriello likes British Vogue's typeface for her daughter's birthday invitations. Vicki Davis of Alias drives a 5 Series. Edward Mulhare of Knight Rider likes cheesecake. Finally, Lwaxana (whose real name is Amber) met Charlotte Rae who played Mrs. Garrett on Diff'rent Strokes before moving on to another series.

aw man, i enjoyed thinking that Keanu did all that stuff. like he truly was some sort of superhuman.

it's because ya'll live in pasadena that you don't see any celebs. plus hanging out at Fuller doesn't up your chances.
