well, it's official, i've been blogging for 5 long years. there's a long list of every post as well as monthly links in the sidebar. 5 years of total geekdom. and guess what... i signed myself up for another 3 years.

since i started blogging, everyone in the world got a blog or two or three. someone i know *not naming names* even has a blog for her dog. everyone has a myspace which - guess what - has a blog. so even if you didn't have a blog and have a myspace.. surprise you have a blog.

that alone is enough for me to want to quit this thing. but i've got a vision for wimpkiller that will hopefully make things different enough, i can survive and overcome the "everyone has a blog" season of the web. but when everyone quits blogging, i'll be a lone dork, blogging alone in my room at night in between binge coding sessions.

i would give you a comprehensive "year in review" but i'm bored with the web at this point and want to begin my evening (which will probably have Wii in the future). i'll sum it up in one short paragraph - virtually unheard of in Howdy Mr. History!

I moved back from Japan. Lived with my mom for 2 months. Got a cell phone and a gym membership there. Moved to Phoenix, and it was so-so. Bought a Wii on it's release day. Got fat at Christmas. Went to the gym a lot in January. Didn't get paid for January. Got fired on Valentine's Day. Didn't get paid for January or February. Moved out to Los Angeles and lived on the Roden/Arkay/Daniel's floor for a few weeks. House sat 3 dogs, 2 cats and 4 chickens for a week or so. Started "hanging out" with a pretty girl <- Lazlo thinks this is why i quit blogging. Moved into an apartment and bought Ikea furniture. Got a girlfriend. Redesigned Paravel Design and began work towards informally launching it as a company. Couldn't make rent so I had to move out and back into the Roden/Arkay/Daniel House. Cramped their style in exchange for Wii. Made rent. House sat again. Became a Godfather to the beautiful Ava Grace VonKanel. Wrassled my toddler roommate, Wren, just about everyday this summer. Drank some beer. Ate some barbecue. Went to the beach during the work week because I'm "self-employed" (read that as you will...)...

And that leaves me to now. This very instant. I'm going to go celebrate 5 years of wimpkiller dot com with my roommates and my girlfriend. Mmm... steak.

I'll let you know, since i've let everyone else know. Wimpkiller is going to undergo some major changes in the next week. So if you come here and it's suddenly gone, or seriously malfunctioning... don't be worried. We'll be back. And hopefully better than ever.
